Jordyn

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jordyn Dannenbaum.

The year of 2015 I graduated from George Mason University with major of performing arts and communications. After that I moved into my own apartment, I was following my dreams. I have been living in my apartment for many years.

I used to volunteer at Perelman Jewish day school to serve hot lunch to the students and teachers. I work at Bryn Mawr Extended Care as a Dietary Aide doing food prep in the kitchen. I also work at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC as an Intern doing office Work. I love it.

I’m proud to be a part of the Association for Adults with Developmental Disabilities (AADD) and the Judith Creed Horizons for Achieving Independence (JCHAI) transitions program organizations. I am proud and lucky to have two younger brothers who look up to me.

I have been to different places, like Utah, Spain, Israel, Florida, Michigan, Mexico, Main, California and more.

On my own time I like to dance, watch tv, listen to music, play games with my family, see movies and go shopping.

I am proud of myself, and I’m lucky to have the best of both worlds from my apartment and my family.

Even if I have Down syndrome.

Hope to write again!

Jordyn,
